Most cities have local recycling centers where you can drop off paper, plastic, etc. They usually have something set up for electrical components like VCRs and batteries. The PowerRite Plus was an old Deltec model. Deltec was acquired a few times and is now belongs to Eaton. Hi, the problem is probably a bad solder. I don't know how this amplifier is made, but if the 2 channels have this problem together you should start by re-solder properly the components of the power supply especially the auxiliary power supply for the preamp. If it's a class H amplifier, check the hi + and - . Bernard
