    That page asks you for the 5-6 digit code number stamped on the bottom of your pan. The only numbers on my set (pressure cooker, pressure pan and pressure lid) were batch numbers indicating the year/month/seq. or part of manufacture (i.e. 93 07 04). I even tried the 5 digit number labeled "CODE" on the box itself, to no avail.
    So I went back & looked at Manttra's product pictures and selected the SKU number that matched the size & design of my cooker. It turns out that the manual for the 100 series also covers the 101 series, and it includes the recipe book so in the end, I only had to download one file. Yay!!

My pressure cooker always makes a hissing sound. Is that close properly?
As long as the lid is properly locked into position it should be closed properly. A certain amount of air and steam will escape from the valve on the lid and will male a hissing sound but this is perfectly normal.
