Maytag Quiet Series 300 only goes to RINSE ONLY

No matter what buttons we push, it automatically goes back to 'rinse only'. We will push 'normal wash' and all the correct buttons will light up. The machine turns on, starts going, then moves straight to 'rinse only' and the goes dark after a bit. No soap flap opening, everything is just rinsed. It's like RINSE ONLY is the ONLY thing it can do!

Try unplugging the washer to reboot the computer board. Sometime power surges at night can cause undervoltage on the board and make it do funny things. Rebooting by removing power for 10 min will drain the board and start with a fresh program. This is true for microwaves, dishwashers, dryers, etc.....

I found that unplugging eventually works. however, this seems to be a chronic condition related to the dishwasher itself not power surges because it happens again and again. i guess i'll just keep resetting it but quite annoying.

Maytag bravos quiet series 300 washer fills and drains. Skips the wash and rinse cycles

Probably a control board issue. Make sure drain hose isn’t too far into drain pipe creating a siphon effect.

I have a Maytag Quiet Series 200 dishwasher. The 3 symbol on the face control panel light is on and starts flashing anytime you push any other button and it won't run. What is the problem?

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

You can press and hold the RINSE ONLY/AIR DRY/HEATED DRY button for 20 seconds to reset the control. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

I have a Maytag Quiet Series 400 and I can't get it to run on Normal, lite or other. I get a code 82 that appears. What does this mean?

My Maytag quiet 400 series is doing the same thing-buttons aren't responding or working. And now a second problem...it has become very loud and sounds like it is chewing up all the dishes.
