My internel microphone doesn't work with Skype -

Go to Tools...Options...Audio Settings and try choosing different choices for Microphone.

SKYPE MICROPHONE PROBLEM
If the person cannot hear you then, either your microphone driver not installed or not working OR the microphone is not configured in Skype.
To test your microphone then click on Start - All Programs - Accessories - Entertainment - Sound recorder. Then record your voice and then play it back. If this is OK then the microphone need to be configured in Skype.
To configure the microphone - Open Skype - Tools - Options - Audio Settings for the Microphone THEN click on Save.

SKYPE VIDEO PROBLEM
To test if the Logitech QuickCam is functioning, check the USB cable; make sure it is connected properly. Then click on Start - All Program - Logitech - Logitech QuickCam and see if you can get the camera to capture your image/video. If this works then the fault is with the Skype configuration. Sometimes the WEBcam settings drop off and the WEBcam need to be selected again. Open Skype - Tools - Options - Video Settings and select the Logitech QuickCam Also check the Audio Settings for the Microphone THEN click on Save. Avoid connecting the WEBcam to an USB hub. I had the same problem and I replaced and/or used "external mic for Notebook " for this purpose and everything is ok now..
pls use new mic and make a test call to SKYPE to hear your mic voice as well..

Try changing your audio-settings, until your mic works again.

You need to check the Microphone setting in Skype.
Open Skype, Click on Tools - Audio Settings, then in Microphone settings click the down arrow and select the built-in microphone then save the settings.
If the microphone you selected doesn't work then select a different one.
