Never done an update but phone keeps turning on and off not loading

your phone is very loaded with the application or your phone is going to hang so you have to update your phone or go to the the service center to resolve this problem

its a software problem . the phone needs to get a fresh software update. after the software update everything will work fine.

To update or reinstall the software please go to nearest authorized service centre of your mobile make and they will update or reinstall the software as required.

Note: Reinstalling the software will delete all the content in your phone like contacts, calendar entry etc.

Usually that happens when the firmware update failed. Try to connect your phone again to your PC then try to update again.

I think your phone may need a Software/Firmware update. Before doing that, try resetting the phone:

Take your SIM card out.
Make sure your phone battery is fully charged.
Press * 3 send at the same time and turn the phone on. Keep them pressed until the reset screen appears.
Give it time to reset.

Then update the Software (sometimes called Firmware) thus:

Before updating software you should check that there’s a newer version of software available.

It's possible the battery is dead, but the phone may also be too full of old files/msgs/pics/applications/games etc... the phone needs a certain amount of memory to function.
Try another battery or a new one, if it starts do an update of the phone software (firmware). You can do this yourself, but it may be better left to a repair/sales shop.

This happens when u have half updated software. Best solution is to update ur phone software.
1) Go to www.sonyericcson.com/support
2) Or go to settings in W910i in general tab go to update service where u can see ur current software and also u can update it via air(but keep in mind of the charges).
3) U can also update it from ur nearest sony ericcson service centre.
