I have a Troy-Bilt PTO Horse (Horse III) 8HP Electric - bought new 1987.
The man who bought it is dead, but it has a really good looking set of tines on it with the original tine hood; however, when you use it, it sligs dirt everywhere and you hear dirt/rocks striking the tine hood.
I wonder if he put too large/long tines on it. I cannot find the specifications/dimensions for the tines that are supposed to fit the tiller. I don't want to order a new set of tines to just check the dimensions of the existing ones.
I need the measurements of the tines that fit it.
Like:
1. the thickness at the heel end (where the
bolt holes are),
2. the width at the heel end where the
bolt holes are),
3. the distance from the heel to the tip of
the tine (the hypotenuse.
Thanks,
Donald Cox
