let it charge overnight then when pressing the "on" button, hold it till something starts happening. I have to hold mine till I see the screen start to activate.

what function does the F12 button do? maybe the program you are using doesnt make use of this function key, in which case nothing will happen. do other function keys work OK? maybe you need to push a Fn button as well to activate the F12 key. have you tried a different keyboard?

You can try alcohol and a tooth brush, making sure you clean around each button.
If this does not work then, take the face plate off of the phone and clean the keys from the inside.
The screws for the faceplate should be behind the battery.

It may not be registed with the main unit. You may need to register the handset. With my uniden all i have to do is put it in the main base until it says what handset it is (it should be a number).

Try pushing the button on the headset 1 time to see what happens. We are using Motorola Razors and it works very well after you push the button once but have your phone open to see what you activate after pushing the button.

If your phone has a keypad lock option, make sure that the keypad is not locked. Refer to the user manual to know how to unlock the keypad.

It is also possible that the keypad is defective and needs to be replaced.

close the ear peice and hold the button down till it blinks then open the ear piece.

I need more info, like is the phone water damaged, did you drop it at all?
