Razr in mute mode

My motorola razr is in ''mute'' mode and I can't get out of it. I must have hit some button accidentally that put in mute by default because I have never used the mute button.

The only mute function is to mute/unmute a call during the active call.
It is the - key (center button at the top of the keypad)
Have you turned the volume too low?
If you turn the volume to low, it will stay low all the time until you reset it to a higher level.
You just press the volume keys on the side of the flip lid or set in the setup menu.

Have had motorola razr phone for 3 years, but today when I tried to make a call or receive one, the "mute" was on and I couldn't change it.

this can only be changed while on a call. Razr phones are different on each provider, most the time, one of the top left or right buttons is the mute. While on a call, look for it on the screen and push the button. Maybe the center button. If this is not accurate, please clarify who your provider is. there is also a volume button on the side of the phone, that may have been turned down so you can't hear it. Try that too.
good luck

Cant turn it on just blinks on and off I was messing with buttons and think I pushed something inadvertantly

Put it to off mode. Take off the battery for about 5 minutes. Then put it back. Recharge for about 15 mins. If you succeed in turning it on quickly reset to default by entering 000000(6 zeros)

Can't locate the speakerphone on my motorola razr

When you open the flip on the phone, it will be the upper small silver button above the volume buttons on the left side. Just press and hold until you hear a beep. It should only take 2 seconds.
