SOURCE: Control Panel Problem on a Maytag DW MDBTT79AWW

I had this same problem, ordered the replacement control panel from whirlpool. The new panel worked for two weeks, then stopped working again. OUCH!
The replacement part costs $264.34 and has no warranty if you do it yourself.
I think I am now going shopping for something other than a Whirlpool or Maytag machine. They have terrible customer service.

SOURCE: Hi, I have a maytag

Before buying new panel :-( it's worth to try to clean and reconnect J1 ribbon cable that connecting panel with control module - but in general panel and J1 ribbon cable are poorly designed and cable get fried in which case you have to replace whole panel.

Replaced circuit board and fuse on whirlpool dishwasher and lights still flashing and won't do anything??

My whirlpool dishwasher gold GU2475XTVQ0 had rapid blinking lights that started with the "4 Hour Delay" LED and changed to others when other buttons were pressed. The machine would not run. I followed the instructions located behind the kick panel and verified the keypad was the issue and not the control circuit by elimination.
The big surprise for me was that when I used a straight pin to resistance check all of the buttons, they checked out OK. I reconnected the 14 pin connector (P1) to the control and found that the buttons/LEDs were behaving correctly! I believe that pushing the straight pin into the 14 pin connector removed any corrosion in the 10 year old device and permitted the keypad to communicate with the control again.
I reassembled the dishwasher door and it ran with no problems. I was ready to replace the keypad for $150, but didn't have to! This may still be the problem after you replaced the control board.

Regency problems

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you

Touchpad and Control Panel

If the buttons don't work on the control panel the entire touchpad and control panel assembly may need to be replaced. If the display works but the dishwasher functions are all out of synch, or some of the buttons don't respond properly the entire touchpad and control panel might need to be replaced.

Touchpad

If the buttons don't work on the control panel, the dishwasher touchpad might be at fault. Generally speaking, if the dishwasher display is working and some of the buttons respond correctly but some don't, the problem is with the touchpad.

Main Control Board

The dishwasher has a main control board which regulates nearly every function in the dishwasher. If the control panel buttons don't work, and other causes have been ruled out, the main control board might need to be replaced.

My quiet partner 111 whirlpool dishwasher is flashing clean

Hello.
Manufactured by Whirlpool, Kenmore dishwashers have an electronic control panel that must be unlocked in order to set or make changes to your dishwashing cycle. If an error light is blinking on your dishwasher's control panel, the panel must be reset before you can gain access. Blinking lights on your dishwasher control panel may signal a mechanical problem that needs to be repaired. If the lights continue to blink after you've reset the control panel, contact Sears to service your Kenmore dishwasher or consider troubleshooting the appliance yourself.
1Press and hold the "Heated Dry" button on your Kenmore dishwasher for four seconds to unlock the dishwasher control panel.
2 Press the "Heated Dry," "Normal Wash," "Heated Dry" and "Normal Wash" buttons one after the other, in fairly quick succession.
3 Wait for the dishwasher to run a short diagnostic test.
4 Press the "Cancel/Drain" button at the end of the diagnostic test cycle. This should reset the control panel on your Kenmore dishwasher.

Thanks.

Hi, I have a maytag quiest series 300 dishwasher and I seem to have problems with the control panel. The control panel does not light up and therfore i cannot switch the dishwasher on.

I had no lights on my control panel, eventhough power was good.
I replaced the control panel ($265 part), it worked for 2 weeks, then I now have the same problem.
Frustrated, I am probably going to buy new from a different manufacturer.
Whirlpool/maytag does not warranty electronic parts if you do it yourself.

Whirlpool Gold Silent Partner IV Dishwasher - model Anyway, my PROBLEM is that the control panel isn't working!!! At all!!! Only the cancel button works... Do you have any solutions?

I think the problem here is there is water in the control panel. this can happen and short the other buttons out the cancel has its own circuit. I would recommend changing the control panel.

Problems with Whirlpool dishwasher model GU1500XTKB0

will these units (silo and jtrip) start back on their own? if so, it is likely they are heating the water.
otherwise it sounds like a logic board, unless there is a defective door switch or sensor issue.
electronics seem to be a recurring problem with whirlpool.
i would ask whirlpool (electorlux) to either buy it back or fix it.
good luck
