probably not. you would need to change the expansion device. You could probably get as low as 15-20 degrees but I doubt you could do much more than that without some system changes.

Danby, has recall on defrost timer . please try that on ,if still you like to change defrost thermostat open the back cover in freezer you can seeit

No other way to make changes. Issue is more then likely the thermostat that needs to be changed. Basically it's thinking your freezer is warmer then it actually is

Refrigerators and freezers are almost identical except for more controls on a freezer. Just raise the thermostat to the temperature you need. If it won't adjust that high, you will need to replace it.

take back of freezer out does the coil have a full frost pattern? make sure the bulb to the t stat is where it needs to be and make sure they didnt give you the wrong one it might be a frig stat

Does your model have independent thermostats for the fridge & freezer???

If not, could be that you will need to change the Thermostat.
These are not expensive - around £10 if you buy on the Internet.
Easy to fit yourself...just turn off the power, remove the power plug from the wall, then unscrew the 'stat unit from inside near the top of the fridge (some are attached to the interior light) and remove the screw holding the thermostat tube to the rear wall.
Often the thermostat gets a small hole somewhere in the long tube, which then lets all the gas escape, making the stat useless.
You can see these small holes in the pipe if you use a magnifying eyeglass, like the kind Jewellers use.
