This is the second Shark Intelligent Electronic Iron model GI495N that I have owned. The first one worked great for about 5 months, then started turning itself off. After investigating, I found it was the cord shorting out where it connects to the iron. I exchanged it for another iron at the store. The second one worked great for about 6 months, then it started to have the same problem, but I hadn't had a chance to take it back to the store yet. This morning while ironing, the place where the cord connects to the iron sparked, burst into flame and partially severed the iron cord. I unplugged it and luckily only have a small burn on my wrist. How do I contact the manufaturer about this problem?
