Sony KDF-55WF655 55" LCD Projection TV

My Sony 55" LCD TV picture is not good.Its looks more green and red.I bought this LCD in 2005 late Aug. The more I look at it,it seems its missing blue,how can I check this or should I have a TV tech look at it?

Got my HD TV to work by just disconnecting the patch cables in rear and reinstalled them,now it works fine.

I have this same TV...don't know where...but there is a "refurbished" block available...I have had TWO installed in 4 years time... SONY refuses to help on this. SONY ARE YOU LISTENING...this is a serious issue with your JUNK TV and your customers are going to start taking their money to someone else...I have read complaint after complaint after complaint...CAN ANYONE SAY CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT?

I have the same TV and the same problem, I take out the block of colours red, green and blue (the blue colour is broken) and I went to the electronic supplies for ask the price and they don't sell just the little blue mirror (blue pixel), they sell all block for $2,050.00 dollars. It's the price for a new one

I have a 60" Sony

Hi,
It seems lamp/ bulb popped again, check lamp inside tv.
If tv does not show red blinking light then it would be lamp that knocked off, replace lamp in tv to fix its problem, please buy Sony original lamp for good picture in tv.

Hi:
The mose common problem is if you watch the television in High definition, And u are connected using componet cables the red, green, blue check the Green cable it may of come loose from either the cable box on on the back of the TV. If this cable comes loose it will result in a B&W picture...Just check all your componet cables, even if the video is running to a seperate amp system before going to the television.

Tv won't turn on. It blinks green then red.

Hi,
Question shows tv is Sony KDF-60WF655.
Green light blinks when tv gets prepare to fire up lamp, check internal circuits then show picture on front screen.
Red light blinking shows some kind of internal problem during circuit check and protection got activated upon some failure.
Count the red light blink as you will see 3 second long pause and post it here to diagnose what section of tv got problem.
Did you replaced its lamp in last 2-3 years?

I have Sony Wega KDF 42WE655 tv. Picture turns green and red pattern and then back at times. Sound is good and other tv's with cable box do not do this. ?????

You will need to have a technician look at this TV as it sounds like the LCD driver board or the main board is at fault.

I bought a SONY GRAND WEGA LCD Projection HD-TV about 2 years ago i rarely use it about 6 to 7 times,i turned it on lately and the screen shows no picture ,power light blinks yellow for a few seconds then...

Its possible that one of your fans has failed, and or it could be the lamp itself. Sony television will not power on if a fan is faulty. Open the back of unit and look at all fans to make sure they are running, if so then replace your lamp.

Sony Grand Wega KDF-60XS955 Picture comes on and then goes off.

You have a bad lamp. Sometimes when the lamp gets old, it doesn't fail and open like they usually do. Instead, the reflector gets cloudy, and instead of reflecting the light, it converts it into heat. As the lamp heats up, it draws more power, eventually to the point where the TV senses it drawing too much power and shuts down, going into a reset cycle. replace the lamp and use an original Sony lamp, as the aftermarket lamps are known trouble makers. Be sure to rate this solution. Thanks!

No Picture - Lamp Indicator Blinking

This may be the main power supply, or the lamp supply. This is providing that the new lamp is okay.

The service tech will swap out the modules to service the set.
