The reset function is in the options menu. Once you scroll through the menu locate the filter timer, forward to the timer locate reset, you then need to hold down the reset button on the bottom RH of the remote control.
You don't need the remote to reset the filter timer, You can use the buttons on the main panel.
Only do this once you've Cleaned/Replaced the Filter or you could potentially shorten the life of the Projector.
I went to the page in the menu where the filter timer is, I believe it was in the Options Page, went to reset filter timer and just held the right arrow key on the main panel down for a few seconds.
Voila!
Filter Timer reset back to 0.

Menu, options, filter time. When the filter time is displayed, press the reset button for at least 3 seconds. The reset menu will appear and you can select RESET.
(1) While the projector running, press the MENU button to open the menu.
(2) Choose "OPTION" , then press ENTER button.
(3) Choose "FILTER TIME", then press and hold the RESET button for 3 seconds.
(4) Choose "RESET" .
