Smart drive 051 error code 32

Washer behaves as many others have described; fills in short, sporadic bursts, then beeps and displays the third light only (error code 32). What do I need to be looking at and what do I need to be looking for? Thanks.

I had the water fill starting and stopping until it gave up, issuing a continuous beep and with the third light from the left flashing. As Ian suggested above, I cleaned up the rusted connections on the over-balance switch. It has solved the problem with my Fisher Paykel Smart Drive 051.

My f&p gw611 Fills up but then wont wash.the 2nd

Most possibly be Error code 56,
Is common in 11 series machines & early series 12.
Is your machine beeping & showing a weird pattern of lights on the wash cycle, It is displaying an error code,
To read this error code you start at the red spin light & work to the left only add up the lights that are on. Red spin light = 1 2nd rinse light =2 1st rinse light =4 last wash light=8 4th wash light=16 3rd wash light=32 2nd wash light=64 1st wash light=128

I am hoping you fixed this problem already but if not I here is what I found out last night. My washer was acting similar to what your describing. I hit the start and I get lights flashing between fill and wash. I found out the behind the control panel is a service paper. On this paper it will describe to you how to run diagnostic on the control panel to check for error codes and the functions for the washer(Pump, spin, hot water valve, cold water valve, slow agitate, fast agitate). When test the functions a second LED was lit indicating the pressure switch(also called water level switch) was showing a full load. Washer was empty! I then unpluged the washer and checked for continuity on the water level switch between the termials where the orange wire and the brown wire attach to. I was having sporadic continuity.(explains the flashing lights between fill and wash). If you have no continuity or sporadic like I did replace the switch. It is like $20 shipped on line. I hopes this helps. I spent I good 6 hours on the internet yesterday piecing info together on this because I couldn't find the same problem I was having.
