1)Call your Voicemail access number, or press its corresponding shortcut key (usually the number "1").
2)Press the key corresponding to "set your voicemail greeting" or "Set up your voicemail."
3)Decide whether you want to use an automated greeting, which usually gives out your number and advises callers that you're not available.
4)Follow the prompts to record and save your greeting.
To set up voicemail, push and hold the number 1 key until it dials into your voicemail box, then listen and follow the prompts to create a password and leave a standard or custom greeting. If this doesn't work, contact your carrier to reset the voicemail on your account. Hope this helps!
Call your voice mail by calling your cell number on your phone if its the first time your service provider will tell that you need to set up your voicemail but if not when you call your first mail its telling you for mail box options press 3 or voicemail options press 4
Depending on your service provider you'll have to call your own voicemail number, usually different than your cell number and the automated system will prompt you to set up your voicemail. In many cases speed dial has been set up for your voicemail. The way to get there is simply press and hold the (1) key and the phone will "speed dial" it for you. Good luck
There's a setting in your phone called HTMF tones. That needs to be on.
HTMF tones is what converts button presses into information an automated system would understand ... If it gives you an options of either long or short ... short is usually standard. Hope this helps.

After you place your sim card in the phone press and hold the 1 button and it will call your voicemail and allow you to set it up. Or if that doesnt work call your phone number from you phone and then you will be able to set it up.
Call customer service something odd is happening you don't need to re-set up voicemail moving your SIM from one phone to another. If the phone is one not from your carrier it might not be programmed for your carrier's number when you press and hold 1 to dial voicemail
