My lexmark all in one will not fax - Lexmark X7170 All-In-One Scan/Copy/Fax and Photo Printer

Memory full, cannot send faxes
The printer fax memory is full. Press the check mark button to clear the message and cancel the fax.
• Reduce the fax resolution and try to send the fax again.
• Reduce the number of pages in the fax and try to send the fax again.

Please take note of the following requirements to be able to fax on your Lexmark X2600 printer:

• The printer is connected to a computer with an active fax modem, and both the printer and computer are on.
• The Lexmark Fax Solutions and Lexmark Productivity Studio software are installed on your computer. Installing these programs is optional. If you have not installed these programs, uninstall and reinstall the printer software. Make sure to choose to install the Lexmark Fax Solutions and Lexmark Productivity Studio programs.

No, it is not fax capable. If there is not a regular telephone line jack on the printer it cannot dial out to send a fax.

I solved my problem by powering off, which I knew would lose the faxes in memory. However, I decided to have the faxes re-sent. As soon as I get time, I will address this issue with Lexmark. It seems incomprehensible to me that Lexmark does not provide instructions on how to do this.

The Lexmark x3470 doesn't support faxing.

i have read the manual end to end and I don't think you can.
Only thing I see is this.

Customizing your settings using the Lexmark Fax Solutions You can adjust the fax settings in the Lexmark Fax Solutions. These settings apply to the faxes you send or receive.

1. Click Start Programs Lexmark 7100 Series Lexmark Fax Solutions.
2. Click Adjust speed dial list and other fax settings.
   
3. Click each tab and change the settings as desired.
4. Press Save Settings after you finish your updates. Nothing is saved until you press this button.
5. Click Close.

• Enter your name, company name, phone number and address as you want them to appear your cover page.
• Select a cover page for your fax.

• Choose to use error correction.
• Choose to use fax header.
• Select a maximum send speed and a print quality for outgoing faxes.
• Choose whether to scan the entire document before dialing the number.
• Select when to print a fax usage report.
• Select when to print a fax activity report

Select when to print an activity report is the only close item I can find. Nothing whatsoever about a confirmation report.
