Samsung monitor flashing power light - Samsung SyncMaster 932B LCD Monitor

The flashing power button is an indication that the power supply has failed. There are parts called capacitors that filter the output power and when they short out the power supply can't start up correctly os it tried over and over, this make the power light flash each time it tries to start up. The monitor is easy to repair if you can do a little soldering. Yes, More than likely the problem with the unit is blown capacitors on the power supply board, the flashing power light is a good indicator of this type of failure. Hello,

A flashing power light like that indicated a blown power supply. Your monitor should be under warranty with Samsung. Check the mfg date on the back sticker, if it is less than 3 years then contact Samsung. If it is out of warranty then contact us at [email protected] and we can get you the info you need to do the repair yourself.

The Samsung SyncMaster 940MW monitor has an issue with the power supply going out. The flashing power light or not turning on are the classic symptoms of this issue. I have the same exact problem. The monitor seemed fine yesterday. Today, the power button light just flashes on and off, with nothing on the display.

Check the electrolytic capacitors with values 820uf/25V and 1000uf/10v. Replace them if found leaky..

no signal.. check cables

Your samsung monitor has a bad power mosfet connected to your backlight driver. Or if not you have a bad backlight or bad capacitor's. This problem is normal to samsung syncmaster monitor.

try to check your screen resolution maybe not compatible to your System. if green flashing there no signal from cpu to VGA cable monitor.
