This could be the TV's power supply, but that is just a guess, hands on testing must be done.

Do the flashlight test. With the TV on and listening to a program, shine a flashlight on the screen. If you can see a faint picture, the LED driver is bad. If you cannot see a faint picture, the T-con board is bad. TV Parts Universal TV Stands DLP Chips ShopJimmy You can get parts here.

There are two board which controls the picture. The TCON board and the main board.

No picture just sound means you are not able to see the picture because there is no back light. Inverter board is the culprit in most cases.

I think the x or y board is bad

As far as I know, this TV doesn't have a PIP feature. The Element Electronics web site didn't appear to list this older model. www.elementelectronics.com did provide a phone number for customer support.
