We have a brand new Jeep Patriot 2010 have had it only 2 mths. We have had problems starting it also - this morning it wouldn't start at all I was able to unlock the car via button on key and when i went to start it - it tried to click over once but unsuccessfully...after that everything died and it wasn't able to click over at all!!!! Nothing was working not even the radio, lights nothing - I was actually unable to lock the car via button because it seemed as though everything went dead.. This has happened once before but it has never been this bad last time the radio and lights etc were working andit was trying to click over and finally did... I don't know what's wrong with can anyone help me??????
If your stage is still in its correct orientation then make sure your objective lenses are screwed in tight as well as the eye piece being secured correctly. Try using different objectives (don't go too high or you may damage your lenses if you ram it into your specimen) and using the fine and course focus. If the you still cant focus using different objectives it's quite possible that your mirrors or lenses inside the microscope have been knocked loose. I would then recommend only having it repaired by a certified microscope technician. If it is still under warranty take it back to the store of purchase or send it back to the manufacturer.
First thing to do is try to see if your external output will work. If you have an extra monitor around, plug it into the VGA port on the side. You can press the Fn button and the button for LCD (usually F7 orF8) to toggle between the LCD display and the VGA or both. Let me know if you can get the VGA to work
Have you tried turning your phone off? I know that with mine I dont turn it off for almost a week and my wi-fi goes screwy. Once i turn it off for 5 minutes the phone works like brand new. Also, you may want to check and see how large the picture is the G1 can only download a certain amount of mb (?) on a single message. Not an expert, hope this helps.
If there was a spark and it smelled, something probably burned through.
If I were you, I'd send it back to Alienware and request a new one.
Even if you could fix this now, the risk of it breaking again in the future is much bigger.
