My speakers won't work

I have Insignia Computer speakers and the blue light comes on but it won't play any sound My brand-new logitech speakers won't work. I tried seemingly, EVERYTHING. On the volume Control at the left corner of the computer moniter there's an X, it won't allow me to use it. And when I tried to install the new speakers, the control panel says, "No Audio Device".

Go into your device manager and tell me if there are any yellow question marks? Also let me know if there is anything installed for audio. Thanks.

Hi! It seems that your problem is in your computer system setting. You have to install the audio device DRIVER and install it. After that, problem solve. Good luck, THANKS

When I plug the speakers in, No sound comes out of them.

Hi, have you tried any speakers on your computer before if yes and these speakers you bought are not working even you turned the volume up they may be faulty, else it may be a cable problem, jack has not been connected at the right place or the sound driver is not installed on your computer. try to check if all is OK or even check the speaker by connecting it to an mp3 or any device using this type of jack if it is playing the problem may be on your computer.
hope that this will help and don't hesitate to contact me and don't forget to rate.

Best regards

Lost my disc and need to re-install on a new

i don't believe you need a disk to install the speakers. speakers are a plug-and-play device, and all you need is a surround sound capable audio driver and software. color coding is as follows; black to blue, green to green, yellow to pink

Logitech Speaker Help

Unfortunately, Logitech doesn't sell the wired remote controller separately. And that seems to be infamous for going out.
What worked for me (with no sound and no blue light on the remote connector) was to plug a set of earphones into the earphone port. As soon as I did that, the blue light came on and the sound was restored, even after removing the earphones. Someone else said both speakers worked properly while they had the earphones in, but not otherwise.

Baught brand new logitech speakers but it doesnt work properly

click on the check box only sarround kit in the speaker configration and see to that u have connected all the ports correctly check out with the software turn everything to defaults do a sound test in ac97 configration if all the speakers are working properly then ur speakers are right and there might be some wrong settings in the audio driver software and u can set it right by the above stated method or else reinstall the audio driver and it make the settings as i have stated above if u have have sound blaster card in that software u should make the settings to 5.1 after all these also ur speakers are not working play ur speakers in some other computer which plays these 5.1 channel speakers there also if the problem persists ur speaker is not proper if does not do the setings as i have stated above then the speaker should play the sound
