Bunn coffee maker will not quit boiling the water in the tank, what is the solution?

It sounds like the thermostat needs to be change. it is located under the top of the unit. Should be on the left side under the lid. Visit this link to get an idea of the part..http://www.ereplacementparts.com/thermostat-kit-p-847667.html.

My 8572 coffee maker drips hot water ,even when no water is added to the machine. This is making it difficult to know how much water is needed to brew a full pot.

I will assume that it is a pour over brewer from your statement, so the only thing that comes to mind is the thermostat not turning off the elements and the water is boiling and coming out the brew tube. You can try to adjust the thermostat first if that does not help then you might have to replace it.

Hi I have a bunn commercial brewer. its a sh dbc brewer. the brewer keeps heating the water all thw way to 225 degrees and keeps going.

Sounds like the thermostat needs to be replaced adjusted or the probe to the thermostat is covered in scale, and it cannot read the temp correctly. Remove top panel and check probe, if fine no buildup, follow probe line to thermostat and set to a lower setting, if same problem replace thermostat.

Could be lime on thermostat probe. When unplugged remove probe and crack off lime deposits. To access ,remove top lid and loosen fill tube nut for fill basin.Take out basin and thermostat is underneath. Also check heating element or hi-limit.Ohm to check with a meter.

Water does not heat up have replaced limit thermostat and heating element

Check the other inline fuse on the element to the light, if you get resistance, then the problem is the adjustable thermostat.
