SOURCE: can't find drivers for my gateway ML3108b coprocessor

The coprocessor is part of the chipset package (part of the CPU)...the chipset you have is an Nvidia chipset, and I am guessing from the specs on your notebook that you are using Vista 32-bit...If all of this is correct, then you can download the chipset driver package from gateway at this link...

I have a Gateway desktop (model DX4720) with a quad core processor. It came with Vista 64 and I recently upgraded to Windows7. The device manager indicates a missing driver for the coprocessor. I am having...

Go to: Start menu, type "Gateway" in the search box; the Gateway resource "Website" appear? click on the site, and enter your "Desktop" by "Description, Model# (DX4720) / Drivers". Do a scan for correct, and missing drivers, if given the option. You should be able to "install" the drivers you need for the Update. "I hope this help Fix it"

Coprocessor driver for windows 7

Hi,

Try letting Windows update detect and install the coprocessor driver for you.
You may have to perform the Windows update a couple of times before the device is detected.

When you start windows update it will give you a list of software and drivers that are available, you will in the list that there are optional updates available. Check there to see if the coprocessor driver is there and install everything except for the language packs.

Hopefully this will resolve the problem for you.

Good luck.

What is the coprocessor driver and how do I get it? I installed windows 7 on my new pc and I'm getting this issue....

Sounds like when you installed Windows 7, you need to update your driver for your Intel Core 2 Quad processor. You can get this from the Intel website.

To answer the first question: A coprocessor is an additional processor that works with the main processing unit to carry out a specific function. The two most common coprocessors are the math coprocessor, used to speed up calculations, and the graphic coprocessor, used to improve the handling of graphics.
