My X9i manual control buttons "beep" but have seem to have no control on the machine.

My X9i seems to power up normally, and it works perfectly on programed workouts from the Android computer. In manual mode, it will only run the belt at 1 mph and it will not respond to manual control inputs (i.e.,it will not speed up or slow down, and the incline will not change). All the manual console buttons "beep" when you touch them, and, if you are running a workout program from the computer, if you touch ANY one of the console's manual buttons, the button "beeps" and the programmed workout is interrupted, but the machine does not otherwise respond to the manual input (when the programmed workout is interrupted, neither the belt speed or incline can be adjusted with the manual control buttons). I have checked the reed switch adjustment, and the motor controller's LED flashes when the programmed workout is running.

The refrigerator makes 6 beeps after dispensing water. Everything seems to be working normally so I do not understand why it beeps after the paddle returns to its normal position.

The following is for Frigidaire models but others can be addressed similarly.

Several Frigidaire refrigerator models have an electronic control panel on the freezer door the owner can use to adjust the internal temperature, dispense ice and water and receive notification about issues such as the need to replace a water filter. The refrigerators also emit a beep for various actions and as an occasional alarm. Determining what causes the beeps necessitates some troubleshooting.
Temperature Controls ·A Frigidaire refrigerator's display panel blinks when the control panel is touched to set temperature controls. After pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, press the arrow buttons within five seconds to increase or decrease the desired temperature. If you do not press the arrow buttons within five seconds after pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, the refrigerator beeps to indicate the current setting will stay in place.

Door Open ·When you leave the refrigerator or freezer door open, the refrigerator beeps. Also, the "Door Ajar" indicator illuminates on the appliance's display panel. Shutting the door and pressing "Alarm Reset" stops the beeping and turns off the "Door Ajar" indicator light.
·The Frigidaire refrigerator has a control lock feature that prevents use of its control panel or dispensers when the unit is locked. When the control lock is active, a beep sounds when a keypad or dispenser is pressed. Release the control lock by pressing the "Control Lock" icon for three seconds. A beep will sound, and the icon's light will go out.
Power Reset ·A power reset is occasionally necessary if the Frigidaire refrigerator's control panel does not work normally or a reset function on the keypad does not work. A power reset involves disconnecting power to the refrigerator by unplugging its power cord from the electrical outlet, waiting 30 seconds and plugging the power cord back into the electrical outlet. When the control panel resets, a beep sounds. If the refrigerator beeps even after a power reset and the beeps' source is not known, contact Frigidaire.

How do I reset my washing machine?

Sounds like a control problem. Try googling your make and model of appliance followed by "service manual". Most newer, digital controlled appliances have a "secret" service menu where you can check for error codes, stuck buttons, bad sensors and such. Download the tech manual and start troubleshooting. Or you can call an appliance repair tech to come out and do the same thing for a fee.

My GE Quiet Power 1 is constantly beeping when you press Normal wash, and then just flashing when you press Start/Reset.

Try cutting power to it at breaker box and see if electronics will reset. If not, sounds like a control board problem

Nordic track X9i wifi will not reboot just keeps looping ifit screen

Wow, lots of scary posts. If I had read this before, I would never have bought it. :)

Anyways, there is a solution. I dont think this post was ever resolved, so I ran across this site that offered a few steps that allowed me to fix the reboot issue and a few nice folks who would reply to any questions.

This sounds like a common problem with ifit on treadmills. I came across this site a few weeks back and it helped! There's a few folks there that could offer suggestions too. best of luck!

Please clarify what you mean by "..but when I take it out it is perfectly clean.." are you saying the water in the filter area is clean.

Turn the power off and take out all the water by hand using a small container. Turn the power back on.

If there is no change in the fault, it is likely the flood switch at the base of the dishwasher is triggering and shutting the machine down.

Control board malfunctioning.

You can try tripping the breaker a half dozen times or so, or else leave it unplugged/without power for a couple days. Once it is plugged back in you may have to leave it overnight and then try it, but that almost always revives it. I notice the problem when I don't use the washer/dryer once a week or don't push any buttons during that time to activate it in some way. Problem seems to occur more frequently in the winter when house is cooler.

Singer 744 beeps

Your problem is most certainly with the buttonhole switch. Firstly: Look if the buttonhole lever, left back of machine, is push up in position. The beeping sound is a warning message. Secondly Remove the light cover, left of the machine, loosen back screw and remove left hand screw completely. Check for a small black electric switch, follow the brown and green elecrtic wire, just back of the light. If you push the BH lever up and down the switch finger should also move up and down. If it stays down, the machine will not work and give a beeping sound. If the switch finger is stuck, push it up with the BH in top position. Hope this will help you
