Want to turn off the Alt R command that runs the open cmd
Every time I use the Alt R command, it Runs "Open cmd" when I am using the Alt R for a specific shortcut in a program (QuickBooks, Outlook etc). I want to turn it of so I can use Alt R for the other functions. I have Windows 8. Thanks.

Your graphics card most likely doesn't support Direct 3D. You can test using the following command in a cmd prompt window dxdiag
In XP click start/runand type cmd in the run box to open a command prompt window.
In Vista/Win7 to open the command prompt, either go through the start menu - click
start, All Programs, Accessories, then click on Command Prompt or in the
run box type: cmd .

for ubuntu open terminal and type -sudo shutdown 0 you can change the 0 if you want. Hope my solution help you!!
Yes you can Open Control Panel - from START button Open Printers and Faxes Folder Highlight the Printer icon - Right click and click on Cancel All documents. If this does not cancel.. try these steps below
Click on Start button Click on Run Type SERVICES.MSC and click ok look
for Print Spooler in the list highlight Print Spooler, Click on
STOP button then click on START close the window and check if the
print queue is gone.
Alternate method,
Click STart Click
RUN Type Cmd ( or COMMAND ) and hit enter In the black window
type NET STOP SPOOLER ( hit enter button ) Type NET START
SPOOLER ( hit enter button )
Repeat the Stop and START Command
4-5 times End the Command with NET START SPOOLER
Open
Printers and faxes folder - Refresh the Window - the printer will show
STatus ready with 0 document

Command prompt will open. Now type the command slmgr -rearm
and press enter
Type the command [ slmgr -rearm ]and enter again.

Hi there. Hit ctrl, alt, del to start task manager, in the top left hand corner click on file, then click on new task (run) in the box type cmd and it should run from there.
Restart the computer and boot into Safe Mode. Open the Start Menu.

use the "run"command by pressing windows key (next to alt) and the r key..type cmd..a command prompt box will open..type ifconfig/all..u will get all the details..in case u want to log in to the rotuter type 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.0 or it may be written somehwhere on the router in the internet browser..hope it helps!
