Motorola H19txt has very poor sound quality

1) My Motorola H19txt has very poor sound quality. The sound crackles and pops like a bad speaker. It sounds tinny. What to do? 2) Also, how do I make it louder? I find that the volume buttons on my phone (Motorola Droid Razr HD) and on the H19txt do not make it loud enough. I cannot seem to find the correct combination of 'Headset Equalizer and Background Noise Cancellation' settings to make it louder. What should I do? thank you for your assistance, j

SOURCE: Can't connecto to headset again...

You are not alone in this endeavor. A lot of people have this problem. So, here is what I suggest. 1. Make sure both the headset and the phone are fully charged. 2. Delete the "device" from your phone. I mean precisely that. Go into you cell phone's bluetooth settings and erase your "HS850" from it. 3. Try re-pairing it. Put the phone and the headset in pairing mode and allow it to sync. This should do it. I always works for me. You usually only need to pair once and every time you use the headset all you should have to do is connect it. I hope this works for you. Good Luck.

SOURCE: Motorola S805 headset worked fine with T60 laptop

Solution I found with the same devices is to properly par the devices.

Refer http://direct.motorola.com/ens/s805/QuickstartGuide.pdf

It basically states :

1.Ensure the headphones are turned off (L indicator light not blinking).
2.Press and hold L button. After about 6 seconds, the L indicator light becomes steadily lit.
3.Release the L button. The L indicator light remains steadily lit.

If the L indicator light is flashing or not steadily lit, repeat steps 1 through 3

Now on the T60:

Search for Bluetooth Devices as you would normally.
The T60 lists Bluetooth devices it finds.
Select Motorola S805.
Select OK or Yes to pair your headphones
with your phone.
Enter the passkey: 0000
Select OK.
When your headphones successfully pair
with your phone, the L indicator light
changes from steadily lit to rapidly flashing.

That's it next time you start a audio program on T60 output will be sent to Motorola Headphones

Crackling and popping sounds in surround sound speakers

Could be your head unit or the connection to the speaker may be bad. Also if the wire to the speakers in your ceiling is bare and touching any ground it would interfere. Start by checking connections by playing something and messing with wires. Listen for a difference. Next check by putting the wires that power those speakers in a known working output and listen for different quality

Acer Aspire 5630 - Low speaker volume, poor quality, OS=Vista

It's likely that the speakers are blown out if it's quiet and making a crackling sound. To fix that, the speakers can be replaced or you can use external speakers.
