E61 thats what it shows

You have to fix this media cable failure one must return to the BIOS screen at start up. Depending on the model of the laptop, press f1, f2, or delete to enter the BIOS screen (the computer will tell you what keys to press). At the bottom of the BIOS screen, there will be a menu. One of the options should be "setup defaults." By pressing the corresponding key, it will return all of your settings back to how they where originally.

Have you tried reseting the record speed an timer

Your unit is telling you that there is a cable problem (between HDD & MoBo) try a new one or if you have another drive with same cable swop over.

yes.its the lens error for sure.either the lens is dirty then needs cleaning.or the lens is got dirty plus lost its allignment then it needs allignment or replacement.
