Bypassing the neutral safety switch won't help with the transmission problem. That switch is only wired into the start circuit.
Scan the computer for trouble codes. Has to be a code if it is in limp-in mode.

SOURCE: Need to replace nuetral safety switch on a 1991 Buick Park Avenue

It is located on the transmission follow the gear shift cable to the end on my 1996 nissan sentra it is located on the front righthand side if your looking at the engine (below the battery) it has 3 (10mm) screws to remove and it slips out of the gear shift cable.

SOURCE: park neutral switch is done where are the wires

If you bypass the park/neutral switch, You won't be able to start the engine. You have to repair or replace the switch. Usually on the shift column (whether steering or console) or on the transmission/trans axle..

You replaced a few parts ,maybe you should take it to a ASE certified repair shop instead of guessing !

1995 cirrus transmission limp mode

THE INPUT & OUTPUT SPEED SENSORS ARE ON THE TRANSAXLE , THEY HAVE A TWO PRONG WIRE CONNECTOR @ EACH SENSOR. THEY ARE IMPORTANT !!!! THEY SEND INFO TO THE CONTROL SOLONOID FOR SHIFT QUALITY AND SHOULD ELIMINATE THAT LIMP MODE CONDITION. I WOULD ALSO CHANGE THE TRANS FILTER & FLUID, USE ATF+4 FLUID ONLY , DONOT USE DEXRON FLUID, ITS NOT GOOD FOR THIS TRANSAXLE, USE ONLY ATF+4 , ONLY !!! CLEAN PAN & THE SMALL MAGNET IN BOTTOM OF PAN . USE A NEW GASKET & FILTER. THE LOCATION OF YOUR SENSORS ON THE TRANSAXLE , STANDING IN FRONT OF CAR, HOOD OPEN, LOOK DOWN @ TRANSAXLE, (TRANSMISSION), USE FLASHLIGHT TO LOOK FOR SENSORS, INPUT , MIDWAY, CLOSE TO CONTROL SOLONOID, OUTPUT, TOWARDS WHEEL. LOWER AREA/TRANS, ARE YOUR NEUTRAL SAFETY & BACKUP SWITCHES ! THREE PRONG CONNECTORS, HOPE THIS HELPS !

04 ram will not shift past 35 mph

it may not be a transmission problem. have you checked for fault codes to make sure it is not in limp mode? limp mode keeps vehicle from accelerating properly because the ECM has put the system at a limited setting to keep the engine running but not to its full potential.

Where is the location neutral safety switch on 2001 mazda mpv

2001 Mazda Truck MPV 2WD 2.5L MFI 6cyl
The neutral saftey switch is on the front of trans. To remove, unscrew the four screws that hold up the plastic cover, remove it then look at front of tran it will be right there.it will have the shifter cable attatached to it. Loosen the bolt an make shure to put the van in nuetral there will be a small hole at the top of the shifting nob put a small brill bit through the hole an through the saftey switch this will aline the two an should start.

Good luck (remember rated this post).

Chrysler concorde doesn't shift out of first

It sounds like it is in limp mode, this means that there is a transmission problem. The trans will go into limp mode to protect from further damage. You need to take it to a trans shop to have diagnostic test

94 dodge intrepid won't start.

Sounds like trans range switch. It is stuck in 2nd because it has a trans code in the tcm. Chrysler calls this (limp-in mode). You need to scan the tcm for codes, It likely has a code for the range switch. Hope this helps. By the way the range switch is also the neutral safety switch for the starter.
