SOURCE: Mitsubishi vs 5051 rear projection tv sound but no picture

No video but good audio Mitsubishi VS5051. Check R509 and R 519, 100 ohm resistors located on the main PCB near the flyback transformer. Also bad connections on any of the yokes and the vertical output IC will cause the same problem.

SOURCE: Mitsubishi rearTV has intermittent wavy lines running throughout

Do you have anything to test it in 1080i? Does it do it on all connections or just one? I had a similar problem with my TV that turned out to be a bad input board. Mine would only display 1080i through the Component connections. All others would show pink and green wavy lines. It cost me around 500 to fix it. Unplug the TV. Remove the back cover for the TV. Using a NON-metal object, or gloves, wiggle the input board (that has all the video connections on it) slowly back and forth and see if the problem comes and goes. You will have to have someone watching for you. If something is loose on that board, the problem should show itself. Narrowing down the problem will probably save you money on repair bills.

I have a Mitsubishi WD-62525 TV with a Blue Ray DVD player hooked up to it. When I play a standard DVD, the picture is fine but if I play a Blue Ray DVD the picture is scrambled. I hooked the same DVD...

Might be tuned to the wrong output. The big tv has more than one input and is select able. Is there a blue ray selection for TV or input for that device.

We have a Mitsubishi Diamond big screen television. There are green lines rolling up and down. Cable guy says it not them. Is it my t.v.?

Press your menu button on the tv if the picture is fine with the menu, then try a dvd player or a gaming system. If the picture is fine with all 3 then yes it is the cable. If there is an issue with the dvd and/or gaming system also then it is the tv and a board will need to be replaced.

Rainbow color effect appears when Samsung LCD plays Wii or DVD

Hello, I have a question which video inputs are you using for your DVD and Wii connections? The reason I ask is because this sounds like video distortion cuased by noise. If possible can you send a picture of the screen when it has this problem and send which video ports are being used? If it is noise in the video you may have a saw filter problem, or a decoupling issue. In any event I'll know more once you send those pictures and which inputs you are using for your DVD and Wii. Tv works, DVD, Xbox or anything requiring a different input

I had the same problem- i forgot wht caused it but it had something to do with the type of inputs i was using. try using the normal RCA inputs or S-video input for the DVD or Xbox
