Are you uploading from your phone or from a PC?

If from a PC, try thisL

* use Chrome to upload, instead of Internet Explorer or Firefox
* Go to the upload page
* before you upload, look for the URL in the address bar. Change the 'http' to 'https' and press enter to reload the page.
* then, upload normally.

The HTTPS version of Youtube's upload page has some error correction that helps it overcome the occasional hiccup the internet encounters.

SOURCE: YouTube Problem Uploading

Did you try the YouTube Uploader? you'll first need to install it on a Windows computer. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in and click the "Upload" link in the upper right corner of any YouTube page.
  2. On the right side of the page, click the "Use multi-video uploader" button.
  3. You'll immediately receive the following message: "YouTube Uploader app not running - you will be redirected to the install page."
  4. Click "OK."
  5. Click the "Install Windows Uploader" link.
  6. You'll be asked if you want to save the "YouTubeUploaderSetup.exe" file. Click the "Save File" button and specify where you'd like the file to be saved.
  7. Open the file once it's been saved to your computer and it will install the Uploader.
Once you've installed the Uploader, you'll be redirected to the Multi-Video Upload page.

SOURCE: it keeps saying 400 bad request and i downloaded

I too was getting the "400 Bad Request" message in Chrome but other browsers could go to the same web page without problem. I found the it was the DNS pre-fetching causing my error. I went into Options, then "Under the Hood" and unchecked "Use DNS pre-fetching to improve page load performance". Immediately my 400 error went away and hasn't been seen since.

No matter what kind of file I trial to upload, AVI or WMV I always get a message that says "upload failed to an unknown error."

It is a well known YouTube bug. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the link called "Basic Uploader" (see image below). By doing it through this link you won't get an error.6_20_2011_8_07_29_pm.jpg

In the system settings, go figure the gmail account that has your YouTube credentials.

better yet, export the movie file and open it in into the default movie player, select 'share' from the toolbar and post to YouTube, or you can right click on the video file and share it.

I uploaded one video, no problem, then tried another one and it loads 100% and my video settings, but it says its processing the video. I have left the computer on for two days to see if it is processed. ...

When you upload a video to youtube they process the video not you. So you do not need to leave you're computer on. If it is only 2.88Kb and takes two days. there is probably something wrong with the video. Re-do the video and upload to youtube again.

Cant upload video from file to youtube

I suspect you exceed the allowable length and size of video to be uploaded that's why you receive a message from Facebook of failure upload, to solve your problem just read the term or subscribe for pro so that you can upload lot of videos without limitation in size and length.

Which Internet browser are you using to upload the videos? Try using a different one like Mozilla, Firefox, Opera etc instead of Internet Explorer.
