Caps lock light not working on Mac

I upgraded to Mojave and the caps lock light stopped working as well, although the key functioned. I fixed the problem by turning the keyboard off and then back on.

Why does lawn not want to pull backwards when mowing? Feels very hard and tight when pulling back. Unsure if it has anything to do with belt?

pull both rear wheels off and clean the half moon shaped key you will find on the drive shaft gear that turns the wheels, you will need snap ring pliers to do this properly and clean the small springs under the half moon key you find so they operate freely DO NOT use grease in this area wd 40 or nothing works fine once they are clean, also check for wear on the parts

My keyboard typing multiple letters

Keyboards on Windows computers can repeat letters when key press sensitivity is too high. This problem can be rectified by adjusting your keyboard\'s repeat frequency. Once this is lowered, key presses will occur slower and you will not have the letters repeated instantly.

Click"Start," then "Control Panel." Click "Hardware and Sound," followed by "Keyboard." Move the "Repeat delay" slider further to the left below the "Character repeat" option. The further left the slider moves, the longer the delay will be before a character repeats.
If fails

Gather your supplies. There are commercial kits available, but a can of compressed air, a lint-free cloth or wipes, mild dishwashing liquid, and a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush are all you really need for a basic cleaning. After turning off your computer and unplugging your keyboard, gently shake the keyboard upside down over some newspaper to dislodge loose crumbs and particles. Use the can of compressed air to blow a stream of air between the keys. Repeat Step 2. Dampen a lint-free cloth with a diluted solution of dishwashing liquid and water to wipe down the keys. Use the vacuum cleaner brush attachment to suck away any remaining dirt or debris. If you have a membrane-type keyboard (it doesn\'t have a spring under each key) and the keys are truly grungy, you can remove the keys with a small screwdriver and use cotton swabs and 90% isopropyl alcohol to get it sparkling clean
If you are still feeling industrious, next you can tackle cleaning your mouse Of course, if cleaning your keyboard seems a truly undesirable task, you can always buy one for around $20.

Hope this helps.

SHIFT KEYS NOT WORKING PROPERLY

Please try to deactivate the Fn (function) key. That will help you get rid of your problem. Press Fn key + Numlock key once and try again. You can also try pressing the Fn key once and type letters in any word processor program with the key combination everytime you press the Fn key once. E.g. open the notepad, press Fn once and after that press ) with Shift.

If you have problem, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

My mouse and key board is not working it's an old computer the mouse just moves in direction .upand down.

Probably a bad mouse, I've had this too. Although, if it's an older ball type mouse it might be helpful to clean it. Remove the ball and locate the two roller pins that the ball operates. Clean off the gunk that builds up on these rollers & causes them to stick. Reassemble and give it a try.

IWhen i turned it on it only types half the letters/numbers etc

If it is only typing the top half of the letters the platen may not be fully seated in the side frames, push down firmly on both ends of the platen it should snap into place.

My keyboard keys stick or when i type sometimes the letters will not type How do i clean my keyboard

You can buy a can of compressed air to blow out all the dirt.
To do a complete clean you can take the screws out underneith and give the key matrix a good clean with some rubbing alcahol.
NOTE: be aware that some keyboards have keys that are not attached to a frame; i wouldn't bother cleaning this way if you find this

Dell lap top keyboard keys "s" and "a" are messed up

Ok, first try looking under the A,S & D keys and see if there is anything stuck in there by those keys.

You can then try blowing with mouth or a can of pressured air to clean it out.

If nothing stuck in there, does the keys feel sticky, if so, then there might have been some liquid spilled on it. Try to dry it out with a hairdryer set on medium to see if that helps.
