Seems like configuring new router ID and network key will solve the issue for you.

Turn over router and check in the bottom default access IP address and then type that IP address in to your browser. Then it shall ask you for ID and password. Enter `Admin` or `admin` as ID and `Password` or `password` as password. You will see a web based setup opened in front of you. Go to the Wireless Lan settings and then you will SSID so change the SSID and this would be your network`s name. Then go to subsection security and select WPA2-PSK or simple WPA-PSK then enter your desired network key. Once done with all these things the click apply and reboot if prompted. Good Luck.

Make sure her router is configured to broadcast the SSID as that can either be disabled or enabled. Once thats enabled and you still cant see it try and set it to different wireless channels and change the wireless network mode to 'mix"

SOURCE: Cannot connect to my home network but can connect to others

Open your d-link software and click on repair...that will release and refresh your network connection.
If you are using Microsoft for connecting, right click one the icon bottom right, and also click repair.
And one more thing to try should that fail, unplug your modem from it's power supply for one full minute and then plug it back in. When the top lights are green and solid (not blinking) Reboot your computer and check to see if you are on line.
Now if that fails, call your ISP, (Internet service provider) for help. They can take over your machine and in two minutes make the necessary connections and corrections. They are really excellent at this and too, you are paying for the SERVICE, correct.
Please leave rating, thank you knidly
