Question about Moen Plumbing
I have a single lever Moen cartridge faucet in my guest shower. The house is 4 years old and I replaced the cartridge about 18 months ago. The water pressure and temperature has worked fine until this week when I noticed I couldn't get warm water unless I turned the handle 75%. At this point the water was tepid and would only get warm if I turned a little more, at which point the pressure would fall 70-80%. Any thoughts on what the problem might be and how to fix it?
It sounds like you need to up the temp on your water heater so that you are mixing more cold with the hot .be careful hot water can cause burns if valve is 4 years old then it has a limit stop do not set above 120 *you will need allen key and thermometer to check temp
