My LG TV was mounted on wall for years. After moving house, we took the hardware off back of TV and attempted to use the table base stand. It seems too heavy for the base. It tips backwards, and I can't get it to stand upright without leaning it against the wall. Am I missing some parts that would make it work?

there are four screw holes at the back, you might want to make use of it for anchoring. I guess these models are designed for TV-like installations and not for computer desktop monitors. The base takes a lot of space too.

It's simple!
Step 1: Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding the red plate off the bottom.
Step 2: Pop the red plate off (May need some persuasion! It should pop straight out, there is nothing else holding it in place, but be careful)
Step 3: Unscrew the four screws holding the spigot in place, and remove the spigot.
Step 4: Screw the 4 screws bach in place.
Step 5: Screw the red plate back into place.
Step 6: Enjoy!

There will be 4 big holes used to install a mounting bracket on the back of the TV.
