Cannot connect Razr I to ST Buddy Bluetooth speakerphone

Have had a SuperTooth Buddy Bluetooth speakerphone in my car for about a year. Connected fine to my Xperia Arc. Have recently changed phone to a Motorola Razr I and for some reason they won't connect. Bluetooth on phone works fine as have had it connected to other phones etc but it just cannot find the headset. Any ideas people?

Owners manual needed for BTSVBC3

Thank you for visiting FixYa!

I don't have a user guide available, but here are the instructions to use your Supertooth.

Pairing with Phone
1. Turn off all devices (ST Light and Phone)
2. Turn on Phone
3. Go to Bluetooth menu on the phone (might be in Settings > connectivity)
4. Go to device list or paired devices (make sure bluetooth is turned on)
5. Delete any old profiles that are still in there.

6. Go to the Supertooth Light (BlueAnt)
7. Hold down the green button (send button)
8. while holding it down, open the microphone
9. the light should start to flash "red" and "blue" (you can release the green button)
10. go back to your phone, and go into either 'device list' menu or 'paired devices' menu on your phone.
11. click on either search, add or new devices. Function depends on different phones
12. when the phone has found the device, it should say 'ST Light BA V1'
13. select it, then enter passkey "0000"
14. If your phone ask for authorization or auto connect, just click "yes"

By now, you should be connected to your device. Always remember to close the microphone before you leave the car.
Otherwise, it will slowly drain the battery. If you want to reconnect, just simply open the microphone.

Make sure you turn off your phone once every 2 weeks to reset the phone memory. This will help give a better
performance and clearer sound.

I need the pairing key for a supertooth voice model n15417

I had the same problem but after hours on the phone to Supertooth found out you need to reset the device:

From off, press the Volume + button.
2- While you press the Volume + button, press the MFB (green button) for one second to switch on the kit. You can hear a special ringing via the kit. The kit says the Bluetooth and PIC versions. The Bluetooth indicator is blinking blue.
All pairings and phone books of the SUPERTOOTH VOICE are erased.
You have to do a new pairing with your phone.

Just bought a iPhone 3G and i have a BlueAnt Supertooth light and the iPhone isn't discovering it...help?

Try following the below instructions, if you haven't already tried them..

First Time Pairing to your Bluetooth Mobile Phone
When you turn ON your Supertooth Light for the first time, it will automatically go into Pairing mode ready to be found by devices in Bluetooth searches. This will be the case until you have successfully paired a phone. If you have already paired a
phone, please go to the next section.
1. Power ON your Supertooth Light. The Bluetooth Indicator (3) will turn a blinking
red/blue, The kit is now in pairing mode.
2. Go to Point 3 in the next section, “Pairing to your Bluetooth Mobile phone”

Pairing to your Bluetooth Mobile Phone
Pair the SUPERTOOTH LIGHT to your Bluetooth mobile phone to create a “Pairing”
link, or audio connection between the two. This has to be only done once when first connecting each new phone.
1. From OFF, Press and Hold the Accept Button (1).
2. While holding the Accept Button (1), switch the kit on (Press-and-release the
Microphone Shaft (5)).
3. The Bluetooth Indicator (3) will turn a blinking red/blue, when you see
this, release the Accept Button (1). The kit is now in pairing mode.
4. While the kit is in pairing mode, access the Bluetooth menu of your phone. Turn on the Bluetooth function then execute a Bluetooth search, or discover. (See your phone’s manual for specific instructions.)
5. When the phone displays the list of Bluetooth devices, select ST LIGHT.
6. When the phone asks for the password, enter 0000 and press Ok.
7. Set the ST LIGHT as a trusted/authorized device, if this is option in your phone.
Important Note: The kit is now paired. Most phones automatically connect to the
kit after pairing. With some phones you need to connect manually after pairing.
Go back to Bluetooth > Paired devices > highlight ST LIGHT > press
Options > then press Connect.
When connected you may see the Bluetooth Symbol on your phone change
slightly, either inverting in color or changing to a headset or car symbol. The kit
is now ready to use.
Repeat steps 1 -7 above for each new phone you want to use with the
Supertooth Light.

This was copied from the user manual, which you may or may not have already.. Here's a link to a .pdf file of the manual which you can also save to your computer:
