Mx980 does not charge - Logitech Harmony 890 LCD Remote Control

Make sure the top lid is closed tightly.

I would first go to e- bay and look for a remote for that unit in the search section ,type in,--- remote control for philips cdc 395 cd player -- you may find a new remote that will work straight up that will be set for your unit and several other philips products as well

Find a URC dealer near you and have them check the remote

You may have to replace the charging port http://www.etradesupply.com/oem-apple-iphone-3gs-charging-port.html

1) replace the batteries by news ones
2) clean the contacts batteries
3) retight the spring contacts batteries with pliers. for better contacts.
4) Open the remote control and clean the KEY pads with contacts cleaners.

IF you do not have resolution, go the repair shop TV for fix it.

Try an other setup code from the remote control's code list. It might help you.

USE A BLOW DRYER AND DRY COMPLETELY.. OR LET IT SET FOR A FEW DAYS WITHOUT THE BATTERY... AFTER GETTING WET IF YOU DON'T REMOVE THE BATTERY IMMEDIATELY THEY COULD GO BAD.
