My viewsonic pjd 5122 runs few second and the power button turn red and restarted

My solution sounds dumb, I had the same issue. Took the lamp cover off the bottom. The screws were loose holding in the lamp. Maybe they heat and expand and eventually work their way out and the lamp doesn't make good contact. Just tightened mine up, the unit would power off after 45 minutes prior. Been on now for 5 hours, no trouble.

This is a sign of overheating, its a thermal issue, I solved the problem with some compressed air, but absolutely DO NOT blow in the ldc assembly or you will get dust in the lens system. You want to blow the cmpresed air on the electronics not ont he optics. I found that over time dust hair ect collected on the thermosistor and caused the over temp error. Cleaning it resolved the issue.

sounds like a bad bulb
projectors get a resistance reading from the bulb and if it doesnt get right value it will give you the double red lights
only other thing it could be is if the fans in projector are not turning on
call viewsonic and tell them issue and make them resolve issue
or
if unit is only 2 weeks old bring it back to store and get replacement or call viewsonic and get them to send you replacement unit - it is too new to mess with it yourself and take chance on voiding warranty

You need to reset the lamp timer. This is likely your problem since you changed the lamp.
Turn the projector on. open the menu. Go to advanced. Scroll down to the first option which should be auto source. Make sure this option is checked. While on this option press right once, left twice, right 3 times, then left 4 times. Another menu will appear. Scroll to lamp time and push enter. This will take it back to zero.
