Check the main oven burner and look for a small thin bar that goes across the burner on the left or right hand side, push it down and across into its seating. its part of a sensing device for the gas flow
If the clock is blank, then the main oven will not work, as the clock timer is linked with the main oven.
You need to to get the clock working, or you will not be able to use the main oven
Hi.
Frpm the sympton's you list, I would say that the main oven element has failed, espsecially if the fan is working o/k.
The element is located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.
In addition to the grill elements in the top oven compartment, there is an additional base element which you can't see.
If you turn the top oven on, the base of the compartment should get hot, if it does not, then the base element has probably failed.
Hope this helps.
if the elements work but the fans dont are you talking about circotherm main oven fan or cooling fans ? there are 2 if its a double oven ,the age of your oven suggests they are gummed up with carbon after years of use and will have seized up.
Hi!1 your control board is shorted need a new control clock board..Just remove the screws to the top back panel and you will see the the main board easy to fix..Just buy main clock board..Good luck..
if the clock is not set the ovens wont work, they dont have to say the right time but they do have to have a time. to set the clock hold the hand button and the clock button(first two buttons),and then plus or minus to set the time
you could have lost one of your 120v leads to the machine. that could cause it to work only half way. go turn the breaker off and then turn it back on and see if that corrects the problem.
first remove mains cord from main power. and remove the microwave oven top cover and check the bulb and crefully remove the old bulb and put new bulb. at high voltagae section dont touch any thing ,that area very dangerous ,thats why very carefully work inside the microwave oven ..
