What can I do? Freezer is not cooling, inside light is on. control panel is off, Temp shows blinking OF and FF

Might need a freon top up. If the compressor is functioning there may be in sufficient freon . This can be topped up. A repairman/technician can diagnose this fairly quickly

My Frigidaire up right freezer is showing an error code "FF" and is beeping. What is the issue?

Hey friend, thanks for your inquiry!

Within your Frigidaire freezer the error code "FF" stands for freezer failure. I would perform a reset on your appliance which can be done by either unplugging the power cord or flipping the household circuit breaker. Once the freezer has come back on you should be able to push the "Down" button three times to start it back up.

If that does not correct the issue Please respond back I would like to assist you with any additional information. Hope this helps to some degree. -Matt

My kenmore upright freezer has a digital display that shows alarms. it is showing a ff and a ce code. can you tell me what they mean?

You have a bad freezer fan and need to replace it. The fan is located behind the back wall INSIDE the freezer. The unit will warm up a little because the air wont circulate the way it is supposed to. You can try unplugging fridge for 30 seconds to reset the control board u can do it yourself although I don't recommend it because u need actual diagnosis but this seems it hope it helps try buying part from sears or amazon

Frigidaire freezer display flashing of and ff. I can't get it to do anything else.

Hello Aaron, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

Based on the symptoms you are describing it sounds like the temperature control is in the OFF position. When this occurs the temperature control turns off the compressor, but does not disconnect the power to the light bulb or other electronics. Let's try activating your freezer by pressing the UP arrow until display shows "4" or desired setting. Allow 24 hours for temperature to stabilize. For future reference you can lock the control to keep from accidently changing the temperature setting. I hope these troubleshooting tips help you in some small way. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if the unit's status has changed successfully.

The freezer says FF after it kept beeping. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it hasn't helped. What else can I do? The temp was 25 degrees

Google your problem with the mfr. and the code ff and it will give you solutions. Do this if you don't have a manual or call dealer.

My Chestfreezer is displaying FF

I believe the FF would mean a thermistor has an open circuit . If so then the sensor would need to be replaced .You can ohm the sensor and at room temp it should be around 1100 ohms.

Always disconnect power before attempting to repair any electrical appliance

Frigidaire Upright freezer with Beeping Display

First make sure you have a good 9v battery installed. If it is ok then the problem will probably be in the display board or the wiring connectors between the boards. CE is communication error. If your model has the electronic tempature control instead of mechanical thermostat the problem could be in there. My bet is a bad connection at display board.
