Make sure the BlueAnt Supertooth 3 is turned OFF.

  1. Press+Hold the Volume Up button and then also press the green button to reset the unit.
  2. After completing the above reset, turn the ST3 OFF again and wait at least 10 seconds.
  3. Turn unit back ON and select language when prompted.
  4. Follow the voice prompts and pair the ST3 with your blackberry as normal.
  5. After pairing has completed you will hear the ST3 announce “loading phonebook – please wait”.
When your blackberry ask your permission to allow bluetooth to connect and donload phonebook allow it permanently.

I have a new phone (HTC EVO) and have lost my manual and can't figure out how to pair it to my BlueAnt Model BTSLBC3

Hey,

All you need to do is put the device into pair mode. To do this hold the green button on the ST Light, while holding the green button release the microphone arm. You should get a blue/red flash letting you know the device is in pair mode. When you get this, go to your phones bluetooth menu and search for devices. Select the ST Light and if prompted enter the pin 0000.

I am trying to connect my blackberry storm to my blueant ST3. It asks me to enter my passcode, but when I do, nothing happnes and keeps asking to try again.

initially check whether both the devices are compatible when your pair them. Then try to give the same passkey on both the devices like 1234 in your blackberry and also same 1234 on your blueant ST3 and check.

Did you DROP the BTslbc3 from your old phone? If not, it may not pair with the new one. That is just a suggestion you may want to try. It may not pair with the new if it is still paried to the old. Hope this helps.

Blue Ant ST3 will not recognize 0000 passcode.

  1. If the Supertooth 3 is on, turn it off by holding down the green Multi-Function button for about 5 seconds (until you hear a voice announce "BlueAnt ST3 powering down").
  2. Hold down "Vol +" and the green Multi-Function button until you hear a loud siren/distinctive tone.
  3. The Supertooth 3 will turn on. Hold down the green Multi-Function button for about 5 seconds to turn it off again.
  4. The Supertooth 3 has now been reset: all pairing and other information has been deleted. When you turn the Supertooth 3 back on again it will prompt you to select a language and then go into pairing mode.
You will now need to re-pair your phone with your Supertooth 3.
