Cant set time on watch

Cant figure out how to set the time on my DKNY watch model ny-1357 thanks for any help

Timer Setting
1. In timer mode press and hold "reset" to enter setting mode; hour will begin flashing
2.Press "st/stop" to increase hours;
3. press "mode" to advance to next setting value

I would like to know the answer to this question as I have a friend who wants to give me a DKNY 1357 that he cannot set the time on -- but neither can I. No instructions or documents with this watch. Well engineered case, but the 4 button system is obscure.

I have a DKNY NY-1251 but i need the instruction to work it because it not working with new batteries. it was working but keeps on stopping
If it is an analog watch and the second hand moves a few time then stops and sort of twitches then the watch battery (even though new) may be bad. If not the the watch is dead and needs repair.

Anyone know how to set time on a NY-1385 watch?
First, go to the time mode which displays week day, seconds and timeas opposed to calendar, seconds and time. To do so, touch and hold upper left sensor until the watch beeps. Then use the upper right button to switch to the proper time mode. Then touch and hold lower right sensor. This will send the watch into settings mode.

Cant change time on new watch
Use a paper clip/small knife to prise the steel cylinder out from the side (go in from the back), it takes a bit of pressure but dont be scared. Once its popped out a bit you can turn it to adjust time
