I think you haven't installed the drivers back to your computer yet. I suggest that you go to the website of sony and get the drivers from there. After installing all the drivers, scan your computer with RadarSync which you can get from www.radarsync.com and update them once the software detects outdated drivers.

Can you confirm you're headphones work? You are getting sound through the laptop speakers as well?

There are multiple possible reasons for your problem:
1. virus
2. hard-drive malfunctions
3. OS malfunctions
4. memory failure

Try to install an antivirus and do a deep scan. You should pay attention to a boot sector virus.

If this doesn't help, do a back-up of your data, format your hard disk and re-install a fresh OS.

If this doesn't help either, try changing the RAM memory.

If that doesn't help either, it means your hard disk's boot sector is damaged. There are solutions for this too, but I think there is a big chance you won't get to this point.

With your printer in a USB port, type WIAACMGR onto Windows start bar line and hit enter. This will establish connection with your printer for scans - only I cannot yet figure out how to do PDF conversions. Hope this helps.

First, make sure that the Kodak printer driver is properly installed in your Sony Vaio. Make sure that you can print while the Kodak is directly connected to Sony Vaio.

If you can print directly connected to it, try to reinstall the GPSU21 Utility.

try uninstall the driver and insatll it after that reboot and connect printer!
