SOURCE: sd card

First you need to see if the computer reconizes the reader, to do this you double click on the computer icon on your desktop, then look to see if there are any drives other than your hard drive and cd roms. If the computer does not see the reader then you may need to download drivers. As to how to get the drivers it depends on your setup if the reader was installed in the computer when you bought it then you will want to go to the computer manfactuer website, if you bought the reader seperatly then you should have recived a disk with it if not go to the website of the card reader manfactuer.

Hope this helps.

How do I install an SD memory card on my Gateway laptop-

Get a USB card reader with a microSD slot. There are a lot of choices. https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Portable-Reader-RS-MMC-Micro/dp/B006T9B6R2 is the simplest type. Others have a USB cable. More expensive models have a detachable (replaceable) USB cable. See https://www.amazon.com/sd-card-reader/s?k=sd+card+reader for more models. Most of these do not need special drivers to work with most OS versions. (Note: I don't know about ChromeOS drivers. Most Unix versions will mount the reader easily.)

I've seen B&H Photo Video (bhphotovideo.com) sell various SD and microSD cards with the card reader included for free. There are also SD adapters for the microSD cards so you can get a reader without a microSD slot.

(my household has several USB card readers. Some are USB 3.0 and the others are older USB 2.0 models. You do need to be very careful handling the card and put it into the reader with the correct orientation. I've seen the microSD cards get damaged when someone moves them between slots.)

I have a Quantaray SD card reader, I put a SD card in it and it doesn't work. I guess I need a driver or software in my Windows 7

Are you sure it's an SD card? If it's larger than 2GB then it's actually an SDHC card and won't work in devices designed only for SD cards.

SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller not working

That's associated with your Card Reader. The SD Card is a type of card that you pull out of your camera and plug into the computer. Try going to your manufacturers site and download and reinstall the Card Reader or SD Card Reader Drivers.

Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "AcerSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the Card Reader or SD Card Reader drivers.

Toshiba flash cards not working

Flash Drive or SD Cards? Flash Drive is where you put the mechanism into a USB Port. SD Cards are where you might take the card out of a camera and stick it into the SD Card Reader Slot on the computer.

Which one are you saying is not working? If its the SD Card Reader, go download and reinstall the driver again.

You can always purchase one for under $10 that plugs into the USB Port. When the site below comes up just type: SD Card Reader in the white search box and hit GO. The link is below:

The SD slot not working

Hi.
Based on the information you have provided, it seems that the issue might be due to the SD Reader in the Computer.
As the issue might be due to the SD Card Reader, please try re-installing the Driver for the SD Reader.
The Driver can be downloaded for the manufacturer's website.
Link to download the SD Reader Driver:

Please click on the above link to download the Driver.
Please restart the Computer after installing the Driver for the settings to be enabled.
Also, please try using any other SD Card and check if it is working.
Hope this helps.

I cant find official site for GIGAtech and i cant find driver for this webcam

This site says it will use something called Driver Detective to detect your pc camera and figure out what drivers you need. I don't have your model of camera so I can't try it out for you.

http://www.quickpcsolutions.org/Drivers/webcam-drivers.html?gclid=CJaOztfClJoCFQOIFQodplNxNQ

Here's another site that shows an online Scan button that also says it uses Driver Detective:

http://www.devicedriversupdate.com/drivers/?t202id=83453&t202kw=

The next site has user-contributed drivers for various GigaTech cameras, but I'd be careful to make sure my anti-virus/anti-spyware signatures were up to date first. I have not tried this:

http://www.filefortune.com/full-download-driver-for-web-camera-gigatech-crack-serial-torrent-keygen.html

Several sites mention the following as the vendor responsible for GigaTech cameras (though I couldn't find your product there):

http://www.otc-computer.com.au

Page 10 of the following catalog seems to show your product:

Sd Card reader not recognising SDHC cards

When You Insert your SD card into the internal card reader, then the SD card is not recognised by the system and the SD card drive doesn't show there. The problem can be because of driver issue, system issue and device issue.
To fix the problem you need to go at device manager if there is a yelllow sign in SD card controller, the problem is most probably caused by a driver issue. Then you need to update the driver. You can also download the driver for your card reader.
Also, check if your SD Card is broken. You can also check it into different devices port.
If it is detected then you can backup of your data.

If the problem not resolved by any means and you require you SD Card data then I will suggest you read - https://www.stellarinfo.co.in/services/removable-media-recovery.php

Sd card reader

Have you tried downloading the drivers for your SD card reader? You can obtain them for your laptop from the Toshiba download site here. Once you install the updated drivers, it will probably solve your problem. If not, leave a comment and I will try to help further.
