Video with no audio

I was watching a hockey game with no problems, when all of a sudden the audio stopped working, while the video remained. I just replaced the lamp in this unit less than a week ago, now this. Any ideas how to fix this problem.

Sound suddenly stopped on my lg tv

The Video (Picture) is SEPERATE from the Audio component of the TV. One can work when the other has gone south. From what I see, the Audio controller board may have been damaged somehow and needs to be replaced. Contact a serviceman for details.

My audio has stopped working

Hello,

If audio suddenly stopped working, check if it is in mute, then unmute it. If same problem then you may uninstall and reinstall the audio driver that is on the device manager.

here's how

control panel (classic view)/device manager/sound and video game controller/uninstall the high def audio driver and restart the laptop and reinstall.

No video out. It worked fine fir a year plus and suddenly stopped showing video. Audio is fine.

This could be a very simple problem. On the a/v cord jack, look on the part that gets plugged into the x-box. There is a switch that allows you to change from HD to standard format. I had this problem when I took my x-box to my brothers and he hooked it up to an HDTV. All you have to do is set the switch back to standard (or HD).

Yamaha 5.1 says Check SP Cable and shuts down - has been fine.

It has nothing to do with the input you choose. A speaker wire is shorted. Disconnect each one in turn and try it. The last one disconnected before it stops failing is the one.
