ASUSDVD won't play

please don't submit multiple posts for the same problem. it doesn't get solved any quicker.

Try reseatting the DVD/CD drive also reinstall the DVD/CD driver.
If this does not fix the problem then most likely the DVD/CD drive is faulty and then needs to be replaced.

1. Whether the Nero you are using is the one bundled with ODD module, if not, try to use the Nero bundled with the ODD module.

2. Check the failure message, please do the troubleshooting according to the failure message

3. Update the Nero version, update the firmware to have a try

4. Test other burning disks which are in different specification of different brands, if the problem still remains, please contact your retailer for a check

5. If there is no problem with other burning disks which are in different specification of different brands, test other burning disks which are the same brand and specification as the problem disk. If the problem still remains, please contact ASUS Call Center or mail to ASUS for further troubleshooting.

Try to install a player for dvd videos. Try a AsusDVD or install Klite codec pack and play the movie with VLC.

I would have to assume this is a result of the DVD decoder and software you are using to play back the dvd. Which software are you using to play back the dvd? Have you tired any other software?

if you have CD RAM and DVD ROM then change it to CD/DVD ram because in case of CD RAM and DVD ROM it may read CD but not DVD but sometimes it can read DVD also but when we copy data to computer it may freeze or give us error so i give you one suggest to buy a new CD/DVD RAM

Try " VLC Player " it plays 95% of music and video files

need to install ASUSDVD player...the problem with my DVD is that it can play DVD movies or videos but it cannot write on DVD discs...please help... thanks...
