Chemical does not come out the sprayer when you press the handle after you pump it up. the nozzles are clean. the only time it works if I unscrew the wand connected to the handle, and hold down the release part on the handle. it's weird

Check for any missing washers or seals or check to see if they're not broken.

My GroundWork sprayer won't hold pressure. Water is coming up in the handle.

Question edited for clarity, ' won't ' is a contraction of 'will not', 'the word 'want' is a request for something, they aren't interchangeable. ;>)

You sprayed has two handles, one on the wand and one on the pump.

Replacement wands are readily available. The pump is very simple in the way it works, there is a sealing gasket on the piston in the tube to create pressure and a non-return valve at the bottom of the tube to stop water flowing back. Check that they are clean and not obstructed.

Can't get nozzle to work. not building up enough pressure.

Make sure the injector is turned on. Clean the nozzle or the strainer if either are clogged or blocked. There may also be dried chemicals in the injector; dissolve them by running warm water through the injection tube.
Check to see that the faucet is open if the engine is running but the pump is not building maximum pressure. If the unit has been stored in freezing temperatures, you'll need to thaw it out completely, including the gun, wand and hose. There may also be air in the pump. Allow the engine to run with the gun open and the wand removed until a steady stream of water is released. In addition, make sure the adjustable pressure knob is set to the maximum position,
Clean the nozzle if the engine is overloaded, as the nozzle may be partially blocked. Reduce excessive pressure by using the pressure adjustment knob.

I cannot pressurize the sprayer. I have the solution in the sprayer. Handle is screwed on. No spray comes out

When you pump the handle is there resistance? If there is, pressure is building up in the sprayer.
If there is no resistance, the sprayer pump is probably deteriorated and should be replaced.
If there is pressure and when you squeeze the trigger nothing comes out, remove the nozzle and make sure there is nothing plugging it.
Good Luck,
Gary

Can you tell me how to pour water and chemical into the tank? the small nozzle for the gun is too small

Hi,
The handle that you use to pump that sprayer will twist and come out... then you pour the water and chemical through that larger hole...replace the pump...twist it tight and then pump the pressure...

I bought a new Blue Max Gasoline pressure washer and when I started it up I have very little water pressure. Are there any comprehensive instructions manuals then what were supplied with unit? Thanks Ron

You can download the manual here: http://www.farmprotractors.com/hdcmanuals/PW2200-03435.pdf

It is probably the same manual that came with the unit.

As far as pressure... hook up the water supply hose and turn on the water supply. Let the supply hose purge all of the air out. Then turn off the water and connect the high pressure hose. After that turn the water supply on again with the engine off and squeeze the wand trigger. Make sure all of the air is out of the high pressure hose. Then start the unit...
Once the engine has stabilized rapidly squeeze and let go of the wand trigger several times. Your exersizing the bypass / unloader valve spring. By this time you should have good pressure. If you have owned the unit less than 90 days and your sure you have a warranty issue use this link to contact the company:

Contact Information:
Homier Distributing Company, Inc.

Hours of Operation:

I note they do NOT include a phone number on their contact page but do state empatically that warranty contact should be made via email [email protected]

You will also need a warranty form here:

Some of these units have a sliding assy on the wand that slides toward the ouput nozzle for adding soap / chemicals. If the slide is not pulled back toward trhe wand and locked into place you will not have any pressure either.

It appears from reading the manual that this particular unhit had 2 different nozzles. One for chemicals and one for high pressure. Plese make sure you have the high pressure nozzle installed. The BLACK nozzle is for chemical use. (page 5 of manual link above)

The red, yellow or white nozzles are all for high pressure with different spray patterns.

This is about the best I can do for you Ron. Hope it was helpful.
