My GPX 42" Has only one code, that don't work.

My Cablevision Remote Has Only Code, But the One Code Dos;nt Work. What Should I Do? GPX

Almost every cable/satellite remote control thats used being
today, has an "Auto Programming Feature" on the remote.
Look up your model cable box online for remote codes and
I almost guarantee u will find the Auto Program instructions.
For Directv u hold mute+select button for about 3 seconds
the flashes and so on . . . "LOOK IT UP"

Unable to program remote
Have you tried the "KMC" code (should be 219). KMC is Konica Minolta who used to make Konka TVs. Here is the link to the programming instructions and all the codes if you need; http://optimum.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/optimum.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=1420 If that code doesn't work, then apparently philips codes may work for your model (164, 005, 038, 093, 127, 070, 003, 004, 059, 236, 238, 243, 247, 199) (sorry you have to work through them one at a time). Hope the KMC one works :)

Why cablevision remote won't work for zenith tv
The remote should be sync with Zenith TV; using its set-up codes.
Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the site linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. See it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" view. It will make surf easier.

Cablevision Tv Codes
CAUSE IT'S NOT MADE/DESIGNED BY GPX,
GPX JUST PUTS THEIR NAME ON THE Tv.
IT'S A DIFFERENT BRAND'S PATENT THOUGH
THAT GPX BOUGHT THE COPYRIGHTS TO USE.
I CANT REMEMBER THE BRAND THEY SHARE WITH
OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD. MAYBE INSIGNIA WHICH IS
ALSO DYNEX as well. possibly EMERSON/SYLVANIA
OR VIORE SCEPTRE MAYBE. IM NOT SURE LOOK IT UP!

Cablevision remote won't work viore tv
I was able to program my viore tv by trying the code search:
1. Press the tv and sel buttons until the IO button turns red.
2. Press channel up or down until the tv turns off and the press the tv button to lock in the code.
Ps: Be pattient when searching for the code, it might take a while. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Code for cablevision remote control
Hello Monica24g. I also have Cablevision and found the codes I was looking for. I assume you have an Audiovox (fpe1907) television. Here are some codes you can try: 076 103 043 035 224 228 078. Press the "TV" button and the "SELECT" simultaneously for 3 seconds. The IO button will light up. Enter one of the codes, then press the "TV" button again. I hope this helps!
