No sound, subwoofer or speakers

My SCHt730 system will not play any sounds. I ran the speaker test program with panasonic technical support and still no sound. They said it was my speakers. I plug the system speakers into another system and they work fine. My subwoofer's power light is on. Panasonic techinical support was no help.

I have used the sound test to check my CS 5.1 system. When I test the subwoofers, there is no sound. I have played CDs with deep bass, no sound is emitted from the subwoofers. I have T-500...

One step at a time. Get the subwoofer to work, THEN play music through it.

You don't describe the electronics, IF you have a sub defined, whatever other steps it probably needs to pass LFE to the sub.

No sound from subwoofer, i have a JBL subwoofer the side or small speakers will play but the woofer will not i ran a sound check and it was stated that all speakers was working fine. could it be that my...

Are you using the Creative speaker test program? It usually has a picture of a generic layout of a pc system, with the speakers around it, showing a speaker for each that you should have plugged in. There should be a test button that will play a sound through each speaker. If a sound plays from your center speaker when the subwoofer picture is lit up then you may have a cord plugged in incorrectly on either the subwoofer or on the back of the soundcard. I've ran into this many times.
The best way to set up surround sound is to get your speakers placed or mounted on the wall, then run one wire at a time into the subwoofer, to ensure that the front left is hooked into the subwoofer in the front left, front right into front right, etc. Then once the speakers are hooked into the subwoofer start running the outputs from the subwooofer one at a time into the sound card. After each connection run the test program and watch the pictures light up as the sound plays, and make sure that the speaker playing sound in your place is the same speaker that is lit up on the test program.
I hope that helps, otherwise the amp is probably bad. Let me know if you need more help.

Panasonic Home Theater SC-PT760

This is not a problem, this means that your system is working. Polar Express was recorded in Surround Sound with separate tracks for each speaker channel. In most movies you will find that the rear speakers will only play certain sound effects so that it appears they are coming from behind you (gun shot, train, fireworks). Most of the diaglouge will come through the center channel and music/effects through the front left and right, with bass coming from the subwoofer.

Now, you can still hear more from the rear speakers if you like this enveloping effect, or if you like your music coming from all directions. There are Sound Effects options to have the front and back speakers always playing the front track, there is Dolby Pro Logic II that turns stereo sounds (like many TV shows) automatically into 5.1 Surround Sound, and you can also individually change the volume of each speaker.

These are all explained on page 29 of your owner's manual under Sound Options. If you need specific button to button help, let me kow.

Subwoofer volume and sound

i had the same problem when i tried to adjust speaker output levels, distance and equalizer manually without using audessy setup..so i reset everything to factory setting (0s)..and then ran
audessy setup..reduce volume on your subwoofer to slightly above minimum(behind the subwoofer) before running the setup..once audessy setup is completed successfully..i started changing setup
manually..changed speaker config for front speaker to small (it is set as large by audessy setup), this should automatically adjust center and other speaker configuration (if not make sure to set them to small as well), then set the cross over frequency to 120..increase the volume on your subwoofer and now you should hear it fire..if this does not help..try playing some rock music with all channel streo mode..if your subwoofer does not fire even for this..then take the system back for exchange..

X-530 rear and mid speakers not working

Hi guys.
Right, I am not technically minded at all, and all this talk about updating software and plug-ins baffled me. I bought my Logitech speakers 3 days ago, and happily plugged them into the soundcard, only to be puzzled that only my front speakers and subwoofer worked when I played music or video. I then had a brainwave. Using the 3 in 1 port that logitech provided me with, I got myself a phono to mono lead, which you can get at all good electrical stores, (take the three way box with you if you are stuck) Then proceed to plug the three speaker outputs into the box, colour co ordinated, then the phono end of the phono to mono lead in the box at the other side. Then using the single input, plug it into the input of your Soundcard. My soundcard has 8 inputs, so I just kept trying them all until sound came out through my speakers. A much less technical answer than changing all your drivers, creating profiles, fiddling with the deep insides of your PC. Hope this is of some use to you guys!

Sound from all speakers problem

I would suspect the lead from your tv or video and swap this.ie where are you feeding tv signal to amp from.more than likely faulty lead or socket at this point.swap around the leads and see does fault transfer to the opposite channel.keep with it sounds like set up problem of some sort,.
