Whatsapp location My whatsapp is stored in phone memory. I want to move it to memory card. But how do i do that ? I cant see any folder in phone memory. Except in installed applications where it shows whatsapp folder nd its file details in phone memory. Help . Want to move it to memory card

Please take note you need to free up your internal memory before proceeding, at least have more than 4MB free and very important to have two SIM card in the phone while installing it and setting it up so you dont have setting up favorites failed.

1. Download the Raw file from here note the file is a zipped file.
2. unzip the downloaded zipped file, then copy the whole folder to your memory card (advisable to do this step on a computer).
3. Now goto the folder, DO NOT launch the whatsapp application inside the folder just yet.
4. Copy the application from the memory card to your My Apps or Games.
5. Now go back to the initial folder and delete it.
6. Now go to the whatsapp application in your phone, click the option button and click update version, let it update then you can open the application...follow all instructions and be patient, when it is finally opening, you will get updating notification enabler let it load, it will fail and tell you phone not supported, close it and your whatsapp is installed and working.

Update: for those asking how to get the unzipped version download this two files here and here , copy them to a folder on your memory card, then rename them like this WhatsApp_jar will now be WhatsApp.jar then WhatsApp_jad will be WhatsApp.jar after this follow the steps from 4. above.

move whatsapp & other apps to memory card.....

First move all the messages which is in the"My folder" folder to inbox.And open message>>setting>>memory in use(i'm not sure,it should be related to memory to be stored) and make a selection to Memory card.Good luck

Hi i would suggest you delete some stuff or upgrade you memory.
According to the manual your phone supports upto 8GB of external memory though a microSD card, I'm guessing once you have inserted this into your phone , you will be able to change the location of where the data is stored.
You could also connect it to the pc and move some internal memory data to a folder on the PC just in case you need it in the future.

Hi , The reason is , u have stored files for all128MB . What you have to do is delete the unwanted files from the phone memory or move it from phone memory to memory card .
Select Menu > Organizer > File manager .Inside which u wil find a files like music , pictures , videos etc. . u can select any file u want to delete . or u can move any files to memory card by SELECTING options > manage files > move . Move it to desired location in memory card

This because you might have stored up all files in phone memory,due to this there no furthur space available for new files. so the mobile says as insuffcient memory.

To delete the content in the phone memory,please open the gallery now you can accesss to the folders in it and you can delete the files or move to memory card from phone memory.

to acess memory
Press 'menu'----->gallery-----> you can find folders like images,video clips,Music files etc,.

please open each folder to delete the content in it or you can move these files to memory card.

to transfer to memory card:-

1.select the file you need to transfer to memory card,
2.Go to options(left navigation key)
3.select move
4.select memory card

Now the files are transferred to Memory card

Solution 1: Set to save the files into SD card rather than into Phone memory. For example, set song folder and picture folder to a location on memory card. Refer to the phone manual for detailed steps.

Solution 2: use a computer and card reader to manually store songs into SD card. Then set the phone to folder into sd card to get the songs. Clear phone memory afterward.

Press the Right Soft Key [Options] to choose from the following: • Send by Picture Message: To send a MMS message. • Send Online Album: To upload selected sound to sound online server. • Send by Bluetooth: To send selected sound to another Bluetooth device. • Set As: Assigns the selected sound for specific tasks (Ringtone, Contact ID, Alert Tone). • Rename: Rename the selected sound. • Lock/Unlock: Select to lock or unlock the selected sound. • Move: To move the sound to another location. • Erase All: To erase all the sound files in your phone. • File Info: Displays information about the selected sound. Since you can’t Send or Move a DRM file, the Send/Move options will not appear when working with these type of files. With microSD card inserted, you can browse all folders and sound files saved in the microSD card by searching the Back folder . indicates that current file is stored in the external memory. indicates that current file is stored in the phone memory. indicates that you have sub directory for the current folder.

No, copy your music to the memory card rather than storing it on the phone. you must do this in 'My stuff' folder, select 'sounds' select the mp3 then click the bottom left button (details), then press 'file', then 'move' To view the moved files goto 'My stuff' folder, select 'sounds' then in the top right corner you will see a picture of a memory card. press this to see swith to view the external memory.
