I was given the EP Racing Boat No. 7000 as a gift. I charged the boat battery just under five hours and put brand new AA batteries in the control. After turning on the controller switch and the boat switch.... the boat does not run. I extended the attena and ran the receiver wire through the tube on the boat.

Hello!Most ep boats need to be in water in order for it to run.you say te model is 7000 ,who makes it? NQD....?

I got the same problem with my SYMA 7000 rc boat. I didn't put it in water yet. Nevertheless there is a sticker saying that place two fingers on the copper will do the trick as well... For me it didn't.

Were having the same issue with it not running. and the remote is missing the antenna. Altogether. This was a gift from me to my son and was cheap from Amazon. We are very frustrated.

My Double Horse 7000 RC boat will not run

Hi,
myy was working then stoped. Battery was full. I disasemble it and found that the on/off switch stoped working because of the rust (water is getting inside). I manage to make a direct conection solding the black and red wire in this switch. Try it.

you can use an invertor to power a battery charger to charge the boat battery but you could not use the invertor to charge the battery it was running from as the invertor will use power faster then the battery could be charged

How long do I charge my boat

All depends on the size of the battery and the charger youre using. Standard batteries are 7.2v on these boats pictured. You will have to check the mah which is on side of battery, if its 1800mah and youre charger charges at the rate 500mah you should charge it for 4.3hrs.
