Nordictrack T5zi control panel lights up but does not respond to any touch

If your Indurama 5 burner's touch panel is not responding accurately when you try to turn on or off the light, fan, or rotisserie, it is possible that there is a problem with the touch panel itself or with the connections between the touch panel and the burner's control board. Here are some steps you can try to fix this problem:

1. Clean the touch panel: If the touch panel is dirty or dusty, it may not be able to accurately detect your finger or stylus when you try to touch it. Try cleaning the touch panel with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dirt or debris that may be interfering with its operation.
2. Check the connections: Make sure that the touch panel is securely connected to the control board, and that all of the wires and cables are properly connected and not damaged. If any of the connections are loose or damaged, it may cause the touch panel to not work correctly.
3. Restart the burner: If the touch panel is still not responding accurately, try restarting the burner. To do this, unplug the burner from the power outlet and then wait a few minutes before plugging it back in. First, confirm that the display is working. If the display is still working, try pressing some of the touch-pad buttons. If some of the buttons respond correctly but others don't, it is likely that the touch-pad is at fault. (Some manufacturers sell the touch-pad separately from the control panel. Other manufacturers require that you purchase the touch-pad and control panel together. If you cannot replace the touch-pad individually, replace the touch-pad and control panel.) I'm guessing that a schematic would be difficult to obtain because the Nordic Track design is proprietary. The incline up/down calibration might be running at start-up which can take a couple minutes, after which, the machine returns to "normal" and buttons now respond. If this is not you case then a repair person may have to intervene.

Run the software calibration for easy diagnostic and fix it.

Go under the HOOD cover motor, follow the steps.

I think you still have warranty, it sounds you have faulty control panel, even if it's new does not mean it is good.

Very likely your console went out. I usually check for voltage running to the console (the wires in the back) and if it has juice but will not come on, I replace the console. As far as "why", usually it is power fluctuations, it can be as simple as turning on a high-amperage piece of equipment, or running too many electronics on the same circuit. I see consoles go out from low voltage more often than high voltage.
